Gerald J. Valentini

Jerry’s practice includes complex litigation matters, such as medical device and pharmaceutical cases. He has served as national liaison counsel in the Multi-District Diet Drug (Fen-Phen) Litigation, coordinating defense efforts among a nationwide diet center group. He has also successfully defended a client of the firm in Latex Glove Litigation, and most recently, he has represented a major manufacturer involved in “PPA” litigation. Jerry also has extensive experience as a litigator in other fields of products liability where he has represented a variety of manufacturing concerns in the areas of industrial machinery, including metal forming equipment, plastic injection molding machinery, conveyor equipment, meat processing equipment, plastic products, lawn and garden equipment, and others. Jerry has also been extensively involved in the handling of professional liability claims, including nursing home litigation and E & O claims. Jerry also has broad experience in the areas of insurance coverage representing carrier clients both at the primary and excess levels. Jerry’s experience also includes the defense of construction site injury cases. He has represented a variety of owners, general contractors and subcontractors in numerous catastrophic injury and death cases. He has also lectured to clients of the firm in the areas of products liability, insurance litigation, and other topics.
